Growing Up 

Like many parents, my parents did not expect to have any children. Needless to say they had three; two sons, Taj and Arlo, and one daughter, Aja. I (Taj) was born in 1986, Arlo, in 1988 and Aja in 1991. There were many trials, tribulations and triumphs growing up a Kemp in 'The Dome', but our upbringing overall was a good one. Mum and dad always did there best (and then some) to provide us kids with everything that was possible, whilst we kids probably tried our best to drive them crazy! As the Kemp family grew and developed, each new member (child) was welcomed into the family further strengthening (and testing!) the family unit and bonds.

Our upbringing was filled with an many memorable family experiences, holidays and adventures. Below is a quick slideshow featuring some of our childhood experiences growing up a member of the Kemp family. 

Below are two photographs of myself (Taj ) during pre-school. There is also an interview i completed in 1990 during my final year of preschool.

Taj Kemp

I am currently 29, living in Wollongong and completing by Bachelor of Primary Education at the University of Wollongong. I hope to move into casual primary teaching in the coming weeks.

Arlo Kemp

Arlo (my brother) was born in 1988 and currently lives in Minneapolis with his wife Sarah. He completed his Degree in Exercise / Sports science several years ago and plays Australian Rules Football in America.

Aja (my sister) was born in 1991 and currently lives on the south coast of New South Wales. Aja is currently a primary school teacher locally and part of my inspiration for choosing the same career path.
