After the Kemp family home 'The Dome' was destroyed in a bush fire the Kemp's obviously needed to re-build a new house. We stayed at Grans's place in the Sussex Inlet township and also rented a house at Berrara whilst the new house was built. Mum and Dad decided not to go down the owner/builder path this time and enlisted a local builder to complete the job. Also conforming to a 'regular house design', mum and dad customized the new house design to fit and accommodate the Kemp family.
